Fragile Boundaries (Focus)

These images move in close to the raw edges of East Vancouver — the small gestures, fleeting expressions, and vulnerable moments that often pass unnoticed. Here, the boundaries between safety and exposure, public and private, are thin. What draws me in is the honesty of these encounters: people caught in transition, in refuge, in defiance, or simply in the act of being themselves. These photographs hold still the tension and tenderness that live side by side on the city’s margins.
